<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new protein, an osteoclast differentiation inhibitor, an inflammatory osteoclasis-treating agent, a gene, a recombinant vector and a method for producing the protein. <P>SOLUTION: This protein contains an amino acid sequence of an extracellular region of Ror2, and also is water-soluble. The osteoclast differentiation inhibitor for inhibiting the differentiation of precursor cell of the osteoclast to the osteoclast contains the above protein. The inflammatory osteoclasis-treating agent for treating the inflammatory osteoclasis contains the above protein. The gene encodes the protein which contains the amino acid sequence of extracellular region of the Ror2 and is water-soluble. The recombinant vector contains the above gene. The method for producing the protein comprises a step of expressing the gene encoding the protein containing the amino acid sequence of the extracellular region of the Ror2 and being water-soluble in microorganisms to synthesize the protein, and a step of eluting the protein from the microorganisms with water or an aqueous solution. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
