PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of solving problems attendant on insert molding. SOLUTION: In the connector 10, a terminal 11 and a housing 12 are integrated by insert molding, an adhesive 18 is applied to an embedded part 11C embedded in the housing 12 out of the terminal 11, a protecting member 20 is fit to the embedded part 11C of the terminal 11, and the protecting member 20 is equipped with a fitting part 22 having a terminal inserting hole 21 for inserting the terminal 11 and to be fit to the terminal 11 and a peripheral wall 23 projecting from the fitting part 22 to the terminal so as to surround the whole periphery, and the peripheral wall 23 out of the embedded part 11C of the terminal 11 is fit to a position surrounding the adhesive 18 and embedded in the housing 12.
