PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic for hair having excellent hairdressing properties and capable of suppressing a sticky feeling, a squeaky feeling and a stiff feeling for the hair, imparting a good feeling and preventing even occurrence of flaking. SOLUTION: The cosmetic for the hair comprises (A) a film-forming agent, (B) a polyglycerol monoalkyl ether, preferably decaglycerol monolauryl ether and/or tetraglycerol monolauryl ether and (C) a thickening polymer is provided.
