PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air purification apparatus increased in air purification capacity with compact constitution. SOLUTION: Air sucked by operation of an air blower is filtered in a prefilter 2 and coarse dust is collected, deodorized by a deodorizing filter 3, deodorized by activated carbon stuck to a space-maintaining sheet by passing through the space-maintaining sheet provided in a dust collection filter 4, and further filtered by a collection sheet with fine dust collected there and blown out. The dust collection filter 4 as well as the deodorizing filter 3 has deodorizing property to increase the deodorization capacity. As the collection sheet is secured on the space-maintaining sheet, deterioration of the dust collection and deodorization properties due to unnecessary deformation is prevented. Even if the activated carbon on the deodorizing filter 3 and space-maintaining sheet is separated, it is collected on the downstream collection sheet, to suppress discharge of the activated carbon to the outside (re-pollution of air).
