PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum type washing/drying machine capable of safely and efficiently removing odor and germs generated from clothes by stably feeding ions, harmless to a human body, generated from an ion generating device and having disinfection and deodorization effects, to a circulation air path to circulate air inside a drum. SOLUTION: The drum type washing/drying machine includes: the ion generating device 61 to generate ions having the disinfection and deodorization effects by the electric discharge; a blower 62 to feed ions generated from the ion generating device 61 to air flowing through an air duct 39; a disinfection/deodorization key 8 to command the execution of the disinfection/deodorization operation for storing clothes inside the drum 34 and removing odor and germs generated from the clothes by the effects of ions generated from the iron generating device 61, as an independent process separate from the dewatering and drying processes; and a control part 82 to operate the blower 42, the ion generating device 61, a heater part 40 and a blower 62 based on commands from command keys.
