<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance both the quality of a printed image and the durability of a heat-resistant endless belt which is manufactured by joining both ends thereof by regulating flatness of the belt. <P>SOLUTION: In the heat-resistant resin belt, external shape displacement f(x) measured by a laser displacement gauge 20, which scans the belt in the direction of a shaft 11 on which the belt is tensioned and laid, satisfies relation shown by an expression (1).
