PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for a vehicular seat capable of easily obtaining a space for properly placing vehicular seat components on a seat back section. SOLUTION: In this vehicular seat 1 including an active head rest 3 for protecting a neck part of an occupant from shock at the time of vehicle collision, a lower unit 4 which is operated by receiving load from around a back part of the occupant is buried in the lower part of the seat back section 2, and an upper unit 5 which reacts for operation of the lower unit 4 and raises the active head rest 3 obliquely forward is buried in the upper part of the seat back section 2. A pressure receiving top end part and a rotation fulcrum part of a pressure receiving rotation section 42 are disposed in a laterally placed posture to be arranged in a right and left direction W of the seat back section 2 in the lower unit 4, and a wire cable 6 for transmitting actuating power to the upper unit 5 is pulled from the rotation fulcrum part side in an either direction of right or left to be connected to the upper unit 5.
