A fibre structure of high whiteness and high moisture absorbing and releasing ability uses synthetic fibres having saturated moisture absorption of 10 wt.% or higher at 20[deg]C under RH of 65%, wherein the structure having a whiteness of JIS-Z-8729, L* 90 or higher, a*+-2, b*+- 10 and whiteness durability after washing for 10 times is 3-4 or higher. An independent claim is also included for the preparation of the structure by reducing a fibre structure containing moisture absorbing and releasing fibres using Na hydrosulphite or thio urea dioxide, and the treating with sulphuric acid or nitric acid. |
