<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movement mechanism capable of moving a movement section in parallel with the driving direction of a driving section without using a plurality of driving sections and without depending on the driving of the driving section itself, and an imaging apparatus using the movement section. <P>SOLUTION: The movement mechanism is provided, in which the movement section is connected to a fixed section by a beam having a spring property, and the driving section moves the movement section, so that the movement section can thereby be moved in parallel with the driving direction of the driving section without using a plurality of driving sections and without depending on the driving of the driving section itself.
