<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely improve the visibility of a liquid crystal display panel by appropriately controlling a backlight. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes an optical finder for visually recognizing an object image, an imaging part for photoelectrically converting the object image and generating image signals, a liquid crystal display part for displaying the image signals generated by the imaging part, a backlight light source for illuminating the liquid crystal display part from the back surface, a photometry sensor for measuring light made incident from the optical finder, and a control part for controlling the light quantity of the backlight light source according to a photometry result measured by the photometry sensor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
