PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speech recognition device by which it is easy to determine which action is to be taken for improving a recognition rate, by displaying a prediction noise level and a recommended speaking level. SOLUTION: A vehicle information input section 4 inputs running information of a vehicle. A speech level detection section 2 detects a speaking level L1 and a noise level L3 from a speech data which is output by a speech input section 1. A speech recognition section 3 performs speech recognition based on the speech data. A display section 6 displays a recognition result R by the speech recognition section 3, the speaking level L1 and the noise level L3. A control section 5 controls that the display section 6 displays the prediction noise level L4 and the recommended speaking level L2 which are determined based on the running information from the vehicle information input section 4.
