PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly durable electrophotographic photoreceptor excellent in mechanical/electrical durability and not generating an abnormal image such as image blur even in long-term repetitive use, and capable of stable image output over a long period of time, and an image forming apparatus equipped with the same. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor is obtained by stacking a multilayer photosensitive layer in which at least a charge generating layer containing a charge generating material and a charge transport layer containing a charge transport material are stacked in this order, on a conductive substrate including a conductive material, wherein the outermost surface layer of the electrophotographic photoreceptor contains filler particles and a specific diamine compound.
