摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a backlight storable efficiently even when a heat radiation plate area increases, by taking heat dissipation into consideration, in a liquid crystal display using a light emitting diode as a light source. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting diode is arranged on a metal substrate to form a plate-like light source part. The plate-like light source part is bonded onto a heat sink to enhance a heat dissipation effect. The heat sink bonded with a plate-like light source is constituted as a storage case, to efficiently store the heat sink. A problem generated by the reason why the storage case comprises metal is solved by providing a light guide panel fixing member made of a resin in the storage case. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
