<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casing for communications equipment, capable of preventing an optical fiber cable from being damaged when carrying out execution work, by improving an optical fiber cable introducing part and a cover attached thereto, in the casing for the communications equipment. <P>SOLUTION: This casing for the communications equipment comprises its casing body, formed with the optical fiber cable introducing part for connecting the optical fiber cable, and the cover detachably attached to the casing body and covers the optical fiber cable introduction part, and slide-operable along a direction crossed with an optical fiber cable introducing direction; and a stopper mechanism is provided to prevent the optical fiber cable from being disconnected, when carrying out a cover operation. The stopper mechanism comprises a protrusion provided in the optical fiber cable introduction part of the casing body, and a locking part formed in a cover side and is locked with the protrusion, when carrying out the cover operation, in the casing for the communications equipment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
