<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for connecting a universal joint to the output shaft of a tractor, which is able to surely perform a simple and reliable connection and has a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus is equipped with a first connection means 48 which is installed incapable of turning to the universal joint, and a second connection means 17 installed incapable of rotating to the output shaft 1 of the tractor and being incapable of turnably connected to the first connection means for transmitting torque. The first connection means is moved to a predetermined connecting position and connected to the second connection means, by installing a connection shield 7 for supporting the first connection means, at least to be indirectly turnable to connect the connection means and having a locking means, installing a bracket having at least one locking device which is attachable in the posterior portion of the tractor and being displaceable between an unlocked position and a locked position, and carrying out the displacement of the locking device form the unlocked position to the locked position, as well as, making the locking device to mutually act on the locking device, with the locking means, to pull the connection shield toward the bracket. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
