The backrest is positionable opposite to the seat part and/or opposite to the lower seat structure in another position. Positioning of a belt guiding device (4) relative to the backrest is changed opposite to the belt guiding device positioning relative to the backrest in the former position of the backrest. The belt guiding device is arranged in a region of a side of the backrest. An independent claim is also included for a method for position change of a part of a vehicle seat.
