PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garment having simple and inexpensive body shape correcting function, which is designed so as to appropriately make adjustment of tightening power required for each part of the garment having body shape correcting function. SOLUTION: The garment having body shape correcting function is formed of stretchable fabric. The prescribed portion of the garment is provided with a stretchability-controlling part 2 sewn in zigzags with yarns 3a, 4a the stretchability of which is smaller than that of the fabric so as to weaken the stretchability of the fabric. In the garment, the tightening power is obtained only by sewing the stretchability-controlling part 2 on the prescribed portion to correct the body shape. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
