The hand dryer includes a hand dryer body (5) having a nozzle (4) for downwardly ejecting air for drying a wet hand, a fan motor (2) for sending the air to the nozzle (4), a heating section (3) for heating the air sent from the fan motor (2). The hand dryer body (5) is surrounded by a front case (7) except the outlet of the nozzle (4). The front case (7) is adapted to be mountable and removable from the hand dryer body (5) by moving the front case (7) in the direction normal to a wall surface (6).</p>
