<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce burdens on a user due to mode changeover by shifting to a prescribed operation mode by presetting job contents different depending on time zones such as copying, printing by a printer and the transmission of image data to an apparatus paying attention to the fact that job processing is different by a time unit according to the activity contents of the departments such as a business department and a financial department. <P>SOLUTION: A standard operation mode corresponding to the time zone is set by an input operation part 2. The operation control part 11 of a control part 8 counts the time by a timer 12, and when the set time comes, makes a mode switching part 13 switch to a setting operation mode.
