<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video recording apparatus capable of efficiently correcting the in-device time measured by the recording apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A control section 7 controls the timer recording start time and end time of timer recording information stored in a storage 6, and the time measured by a timer 5. When the timer 5 measures times that are a predetermined time before the timer recording start time and the end time, respectively, the control section 7 acquires the present time from a standard time information signal extracted by a tuner section 2. The control section 7 adjusts the time measured by the timer 5 to be the acquired present time.
