PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular power transmission mechanism storage case capable of restraining the intrusion of water or a foreign matter to the inside from the outside of the case via a communication passage, by smoothly discharging water and the foreign matter flowing in the case to the outside via the communication passage formed in the case. SOLUTION: A case body 18 has a two-layer peripheral wall structure composed of an inner peripheral wall 19 and an outer peripheral wall 20, and a hollow evacuation part 22 is partitioned and formed between both the peripheral walls by ribs 21a and 21b. The inner peripheral wall 19 has an inside communication passage for making the inside of the case body 18 communicate with the inside of the lowest evacuation part 22 positioned in the lowest part in the gravity direction, and the outer peripheral wall 20 has an outside communication passage for making the outside of the case body 18 communicate with the inside of the lowest evacuation part 22. The communication passage 27 for nonlinearly making the mutual inside and outside of the case body 18 communicate with each other is constituted of the inside communication passage, the lowest evacuation part 22 and the outside communication passage, and the water and the foreign matter are discharged by being made to flow down to the outside of the case body from the inside of the case body 18 via the communication passage 27.
