PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging device that can eliminate a covering-box structure and easily pack an object to be packed with a large height, secure safety of a sealing operation which is dangerous, and allow transportation, storage, and disposal of packaging materials after the package is opened without the material being bulky. SOLUTION: The packaging device in which a pair of a front frame 4 and a rear frame 5 is provided so as to stand along inside of an edge frame 3 formed on four side portions of a bottom tray 1 at the front and rear, respectively, packs the object to be packed by covering the front frame 4 and the rear frame 5 with an outer box 6. Each of top sides of the front frame 4 and the rear frame 5 is formed with liner lid pieces 7, 7 so as to be bendable. The outer box 6 is constituted with a pair of split outer frames 8a and 8b for covering both left and right side faces of the front frame 4 and rear frame 5 so as to be split. Each of the split outer frames has upper lid pieces 10a and 10b formed at a top side of the respective frame faces so as to be bendable with respect to a frame face 9 provided so as to stand along inside of the edge frame 3 of the bottom tray 1.
