PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric double-layer capacitor having high reliability for a high temperature environment condition. SOLUTION: A first collector 11, a first polarizing electrode 13 formed of a carbon material comprising electrolyte, a separator 14, a second polarizing electrode 15 formed of the carbon material comprising electrolyte and a second collector 16 are sequentially laminated. Insulating rubber 12 is arranged on an outer peripheral part. An element 2 of the electric double-layer capacitor formed of the element 2 where a basic cell 1 sealed with the insulating rubber 12 is laminated is stored in an insulating case 32 and a coating metal case 31. A lead terminal (+) 33 and a lead terminal (-) 34 are laid in the insulating case 32 and are brought into contact with the collectors on both faces of the element 2 of the electric double-layer capacitor. Sides of the electric double-layer capacitor 2 are brought into close contact with insulating rings 35 so as to cover them. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
