<p>This disclosure describes, generally, methods and systems for performing cardless financial transactions using a telephone number. The method may include registering a customer's telephone number with a financial account of the customer based at least in part on verification of the customer's identity and prompting the customer to enter into a cardless transaction. The method may further include receiving the entered telephone number and personal identification number (PIN). The method may further verify the entered telephone number by comparing it to the registered telephone number, and in response to verification of the entered telephone number, retrieve account information for the financial account. The method may further include verifying the entered PIN by comparing it to a corresponding PIN associated with the financial account, and granting access to the financial account based on verification of the entered telephone number and PIN.</p> |
