<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition for inkjet recording excellent in both sedimentation resistance and fretting resistance in addition to opacifying properties. <P>SOLUTION: The inkjet recording ink composition comprises polymer coated metal oxide fine particles where the surface of fine particles composed of a first metal oxide having a primary particle diameter of 1-130 nm is coated with a second metal oxide different from the first metal oxide as a first layer and the external side thereof is coated with a polymer as a second layer with a volume average particle diameter of the fine particles composed of the first metal oxide of 150-500 nm in an amount of the coated polymer of 5-200 mass% based on the total amount of the first metal oxide and the second metal oxide. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
