<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and efficient variable magnetic flux drive system which secures voltage needed to supply a magnetizing current so as to control the magnetic flux of a variable magnet used in a permanent magnet motor. <P>SOLUTION: The variable magnetic flux drive system includes a variable magnetic flux motor 1 having a variable magnet as a permanent magnet having a low retention force, an inverter 4 for driving the variable magnetic flux motor 1, an inverter 4 as a magnetizing section for supplying a magnetizing current for controlling the magnetic flux of the variable magnet, and a boosting section 5 for boosting the input DC voltage up to a prescribed target value to output it to the inverter 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
