<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform leveling control of signal traffic for updating a registration effective time of registration information set from a terminal to a SIP server and a presence server within an effective time about a traffic leveling control method and a server in a telephone system through an IP network by SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) or SIMPLE (SIP for Instant Messaging and presence Leveraging Extensions) protocol. <P>SOLUTION: A server for preforming service control is configured so as to store a service request including registration information and a registration effective time from a user terminal in a table, calculate a relative time with the present time as reference from the registration effective time, calculate the scheduled number of receiving update signals corresponding to the relative time from the table, calculate a time corresponding to the relative time, calculate a limitation value of the number of receptions per unit time in each time difference from the table, and determine the registration effective time to be a base of the relative time as a proper time when it is detected that the calculated scheduled number of receptions is less than the limitation value of the number of receptions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
