PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein operability of seat arrangement of jumping up (tip up) of a seat bottom and diving down of a seat back and the seat bottom is insufficient. SOLUTION: The vehicle seat has the seat back 11 turnably mounted to a vehicle body 13; the seat bottom 14 displaceable between a storage position where it becomes substantially parallel to the seat back and stands up and a utilization position becoming approximately perpendicular to the seat back 11; and a lock mechanism 18 for retaining the seat bottom 14 to the storage position. When the seat back 11 is forwardly fallen and dive down that the seat back 11 and the seat bottom 14 become substantially parallel is performed, on the lock mechanism 18, a lock off plate 51 for making the seat back 11 and the seat bottom 14 in the non-fixed state is provided.
