<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide media capable of performing not only one-way sample distribution but also bi-directional general advertisement and collection of customer data. <P>SOLUTION: A sample distribution media box 1 is a box such as a vending machine, wherein commodity samples or free samples to be distributed are stored in a sample/approval storing box 2, and when a touch panel 3 is operated, the sample or the free sample can be taken out from a sample/free sample taking-out port 7. When a user makes a non-contact card reading sensor 6 read card information from a point card or a credit card of an associated card company, the user can select and take back a required sample or approvals.
