<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a tilt servo and also a gap servo favorably without needing standardization of a tilt error signal using a gap error. <P>SOLUTION: A gap error signal GES obtained by detecting the quantity of total-reflection light between an optical lens and an optical recording medium, and then the tilt error signal is generated from a push-pull signal Tpp in a traveling direction relative to the optical recording medium of the total-reflection return light quantity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
