PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt fastener having a structure capable of restraining damage of a belt, while maintaining a fastening state of the belt for fastening an article, by devising a wrapped part wrapped with the belt. SOLUTION: This belt fastener 1 has an operation lever 12 having two side wall parts 10 mutually arranged in parallel, and the wrapped part 13 installed between the two side wall parts 10 and wrapped with the belt. The wrapped part 13 has mutually separably arranged first bar 6 and second bar 7. In a belt sandwiching part A in the first bar 6 and the second bar 7 for sandwiching the belt 2, a belt contact surface of the first bar 6 forms a projecting first surface on the outside of the bar, and a belt contact surface of the second bar 7 forms a recessed second surface along the first surface.
