PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine that can notify the outside of the illegal replacement of the main controller. SOLUTION: When a power source is supplied to a slot machine 10, an opening/closing frequency command for indicating the frequency of opening or closing in the operation of opening or closing a front door 12 is transmitted to a display controller 111 from the main controller 131. The display controller 111 determines whether the frequency of opening or closing stored in an opening/closing frequency counter 186g is the same as that as indicated by the opening/closing frequency command while determining whether the opening/closing frequency command is received or not. Then, when the frequency of opening or closing is different from that indicated by the opening/closing frequency command evidently as a result of the replacement of the main controller 131 with an illegal one or when the reception of the opening/closing frequency command fails, the error notification is set.
