A sound detecting apparatus is provided to confirm the malfunction of facility easily by moving and maintaining one end of the auscultation rod. A sound detecting apparatus comprises an auscultation rod(10), a handle(20) which is formed at the outer circumference of the auscultation rod and is stepped to the auscultation rod, a flexible tube(30) which is connected to the end of the auscultation rod, and an earpiece(40) which is connected to the end of the flexible tube.
