A scanning unit, a manufacturing method thereof and an image forming apparatus are provided to minimize the alignment tolerance and improve the image quality. A unit body(110) can make a round trip in the main scanning direction. The first and second insertion holes(111, 113) are formed at one side of the unit body and are supported by a guide axis(20). The radius of the first and second insertion holes is bigger than the outer radius of the first and second shaft insertion members(120, 130) as much as a location adjustment interval. An adhesive injection groove(117) is formed along the circumference of the first and second insertion holes. The first and second shaft insertion members have an inner hole into which the guide axis is inserted.
