A seat unit for an aircraft cabin is disclosed. The seat unit includes a seat base and a foldable seat back (26) arranged in front of a rear wall (10) having first (36) and second parts in its lateral extent. The first part is relatively closer to the seat base than the second part which thereby defines an inner recess (34) in an inner surface. The seat back may fold down and may include an extension piece (40) which can be folded out to create an extended bed surface. A seating arrangement is also described with at least two seats, one in front of the other. |
