FIELD: technological processes; metallurgy. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of ferrous metallurgy and may be used in production of strip from electrotechnical anisotropic steel. In order to improve magnetic characteristics of strip due to reduction of specific magnetic losses in steel, method includes application of water suspension of magnesium hydroxide on strip with further drying, high-temperature annealing, application of insulating coat with further drying, leveling annealing that comprises heating, holding and cooling in interval of temperatures (800-850)°C - (50-200)°C with the rate of 5-15°C/sec. ^ EFFECT: improvement of strip magnetic characteristics. ^ 1 ex, 1 tbl |
