<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting and identifying nucleic acids of Mycoplasma pneumoniae using oligonucleotides. <P>SOLUTION: Nucleic acids of Mycoplasma pneumonia are detected and identified using an oligonucleotide consisting of a target binding sequence selected from the group consisting of the target binding sequences of ORF6LP1, ORF6LP2, ORF6LeftPCR, ORF6RP1, ORF6RP2 and ORF6RightPCR, and optionally, a sequence required for an amplification reaction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
