PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lifting tool for safely and reliably holding an outside columnar held object in a lifted state and carrying it in the lifted state while surely preventing the fall-off thereof. SOLUTION: At one crosswise end of a base plate 2 having a lifter 3 mounted to the upper face, a roller chain 4 which has links connected to one another so as to be bendable via pins 5 extending in the longitudinal direction is pivotally mounted at one end. The roller chain 4 is connected at the other end to a fastener 12 which is provided at the other crosswise end of the base plate 2. Two supporting members 21 which have a plurality of protrusions 22 formed on the surface of a rod body at its lengthwise spaces are fixed to the lower face of the base plate 2 at a predetermined crosswise space with their lengthwise direction in the longitudinal direction.
