IGNITION KEY APPARATUS FOR A VEHICLE

An ignition key apparatus of the vehicle is provided to improve the quality of the workability in the assembly work by preventing that the cam shaft is broken away from the lock body. A lock body(100) has the cylindrical structure. A rotary assembly is inserted within the front space of the lock body. The lock plate is arranged by inserting the ignition key. The rotor assembly is rotated into 4 steps of the LOCK/ACC/ON/START while the ignition key is in the inserted state. A cam shaft(120) is equipped within the lock body in order to be connected to the back-end of the rotor assembly. The cam shaft delivers the torque of the rotor assembly. An ignition switch assembly is inserted into the rearward space of the lock body and connected to the back-end of the cam shaft. The starting switch assembly changes the ignition switching circuit according to the rotation of the cam shaft.
