PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated gas barrier packaging material using a polyamide film as a substrate, in particular, a gas barrier packaging material capable of keeping high gas barrier properties and adhesiveness possessed before retort treatment even when a retort treatment is applied and thereby being used suitably for retort usage. SOLUTION: On one face of the substrate formed of a transparent oriented polyamide film, at least an anchor coat layer, a vapor-deposited thin film layer formed of aluminum oxide, and a gas barrier coating layer being a thin film obtained by heating and drying a coating film formed from a mixture solution of a silicone compound expressed by Si(OR<SP>1</SP>)<SB>4</SB>and R<SP>2</SP>Si(OR<SP>3</SP>)<SB>3</SB>(wherein, R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>2</SP>are each a hydrolyzable group such as CH<SB>3</SB>, C<SB>2</SB>H<SB>5</SB>, and C<SB>2</SB>H<SB>4</SB>OCH<SB>3</SB>, and R<SP>2</SP>is an organic functional group) or its hydrolyzed substance and a hydroxyl group-containing water-soluble polymer as a main agent, are laminated in this relative order.
