A sealer coating state inspection apparatus and a method thereof are provided to determine whether width and height of a bead of a sealer are proper or not by irradiating a line laser at a right angle in a coated sealer. A coating unit(2) comprises a sealer gun. An irradiating unit(20) is fixed to the rear side of the coating unit and irradiates a line laser at a right angle in a horizontal direction. An imaging unit(10) is fixed to the rear side of the coating unit and photographs a cross point between a bead of a sealer and a laser line and processes the image. A controller comprises a vision controller analyzing the image signal obtained by the image unit and a comparing unit performing whole controlling operation and generating a controlling signal. A display unit displays a coated state.
