PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine capable of achieving low vibration and low noise by smoothly sliding a rod against any movement of an outer tub and preventing the vibration of the outer tub from being directly transmitted to the bottom of an outer frame of the washing machine. SOLUTION: An attenuation means 41 is disposed in a washing machine body 30, and the rod 41c is supported by two bearings 41e mounted at both ends of a cylinder 41a of the attenuation means 41. Accordingly, the rod 41c can be smoothly slid against any movement of the outer tub 33, and the low vibration and low noise can be achieved by preventing the vibration of the outer tub 33 from being directly transmitted to the bottom 30a of the washing machine body. Further, a radiation part 41f for radiating frictional heat between the rod 41c and the bearing 41e is mounted in the periphery of the bearing 41e, so that the temperature rise in the bearing 41e can be inhibited and deformation or deterioration of the bearing 41e can be prevented.
