PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an OFDM signal transmitter capable of effectively reducing a PAPR while suppressing a needed processing amount when OFDM is used, a signal processing chip, and to provide an OFDM signal transmitting method. SOLUTION: The OFDM signal transmitter 100 is provided with: a peak detecting part 113 for detecting a peak part which is included in a temporary transmission signal and has an amplitude value higher than those of the other parts; a quasi-impulse signal generating and storing part 115 for outputting a quasi-impulse signal being an impulse-shaped signal; a quasi-impulse signal processing part 117 for applying multiple and cyclic shift to the quasi-impulse signal so as to mutually negate a peak part detected in the temporary transmission signal by the peak detecting part 113 and a peak part in the quasi-impulse signal by adding the peak part to the peak part; and an adding part 119 for adding the quasi-impulse signal to which the multiple and the cyclic shift are applied by the quasi-impulse signal processing part 117 to the temporary transmission signal.
