PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tripod type constant velocity universal joint capable of inexpensively preventing an internal component from coming out of an inner ring without using a separate component such as a circlip. SOLUTION: A projecting part 9 as a restraining part is arranged in a portion which is the inner peripheral surface of the large diameter end part 13 of a boot 12 and corresponds to the roller guide surface 8 of the track groove 7 of the outer ring 2 by being formed integrally with the large diameter end part 13 of the boot 12. An extended part 10 is formed by extending the end of the projecting part 9 along the roller guide surface 8 of the track groove 7.
