PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance steering wheel returning performance to a steering wheel neutral position, in a vehicular steering device capable of providing a sufficient turning feeling in a position other than the steering wheel neutral position while not providing any excessive turning feeling in the vicinity of the steering wheel neutral position, and reducing the maximum steering wheel rotational angle necessary for obtaining the desired maximum wheel steering angle. SOLUTION: In the vehicular steering device, a projection 41 is provided on a fore end of an input shaft 11 parallel to the axis O1 of rotation of the input shaft in an offset manner by the predetermined distance A and in a projecting manner in the axial direction; a cam shaft 45 pivotably supported by a housing 10 offset from the input shaft 11 by the predetermined distance B smaller than the predetermined distance A and parallel thereto is arranged on a steering wheel shaft side of the input shaft 11; a cam groove 46 which is formed substantially in the radial direction while the projection being slidably engaged is provided on an end face opposing the fore end of the input shaft 11 of the cam shaft 45; and the steering wheel shaft 19 and the input shaft 11 are connected to each other via the cam shaft 45. An urging means 50 for urging the projection 41 substantially in the radial direction of the cam shaft 45 toward the axis O2 of rotation of the cam shaft 45 is arranged within the cam groove 46.
