PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a showcase device enabling foodstuffs or the like to be sufficiently displayed on a top board while they keep cold stored/refrigerated. SOLUTION: The showcase device 1a is provided with an upper case 10 forming a display room 11 and a lower case 20 forming a machine room 21. The machine room 21 houses a cooling unit 40 for cooling the display room 11 via a refrigerant. The showcase device 1a is provided with a connection part 30 for connecting the rear of the case 10 with the rear of the case 20 and capable of hanging the case 20 from the case 10 and a channel 51 for circulating the refrigerant up/down along the inside of the part 30. The top board of the counter can be inserted in a space S lying between the cases 10 and 20. When the case 10 is mounted on the top board, the case 20 lies below the top board.
