READ-ONLY OPTICAL INFORMATION RECORDING MEDIUM

摘要

In a read-only optical information recording medium, at least one layer of a reflection film composed of an Al group alloy and at least one light transmitting layer are sequentially laminated on a substrate. The arithmetic average roughness Ra of the reflection film is 0.5nm or less, and the thickness of the reflection film is 25nm or more. The optical information recording medium has high reflectance and low jitter, preferably with excellent durability, and has the reflection film to be suitably used for optical discs using blue laser, such as a BD-ROM and an HD DVD-ROM.
