VEHICLE TRAVELING CONTROL DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle traveling control device capable of stopping and maintaining a vehicle when braking is operated by a driver.

SOLUTION: The vehicle traveling control device 1 calculates a gradient target driving force Foi with which the vehicle can be stopped and maintained and a feedback target driving force Fof given by subtracting the gradient target driving force Foi from a reference driving force calculated so that a detected vehicle speed V should be a target vehicle speed Vo in the gradient detected in automatic traveling control ECU7, and outputs the forces to an engine ECU8. The engine ECU8 controls an engine 100 based on a target driving force Fo which is the total of the calculated gradient target driving force Foi and feedback target driving force Fof. When detecting a braking operation by a driver, the automatic traveling control ECU7 outputs the zero or less feedback target driving force Fof to the engine ECU8, and the engine ECU8 controls the engine 100 based on the target driving force Fo less than the gradient target driving force Foi.
