PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique particularly utilizing a microphone for a noise cancelling headphone by providing a headphone enabling a binaural recording. SOLUTION: An earphone 32 has an ear-inserting section 42, a housing 54 and a microphone rotating body 52. The housing 54 has a sound duct 50 and a cylindrical loudspeaker supporter 56. The ear-inserting section 42 is fitted at an end section on the left side of the sound duct 50. A loudspeaker 44 is fixed on an inner wall surface on the reverse side (the figure right side) to the ear inserting section 42 on the inner wall surface of the loudspeaker supporter 56. A microphone 46 is moved selectively at a place functioning as the microphone for cancelling noise and the place functioning as a highly directional microphone for an external sound by rotating the upper section of the microphone rotating body 52 by a user.
