<p>The invention relates to a method and a device for transporting articles (A-1,..., B-1,...), especially postal items. The articles (A-1,..., B-1,...) are transported to respective handling systems in a plurality of transport processes. Prior to transport, every article (A-1,..., B-1,...) is measured to determined whether the article has a predetermined property, and if so, to what degree of distinction. The measurement is repeated once the article (A-1,..., B-1,...) is supplied to a handling system (Anl-3). It is determined for every article by way of which transport process (TV-1) the article was transported. For this purpose, it is determined which articles having which distinction of the property were transported by way of which transport process.</p> |
